The Care Certificate is a set of standards that social care and health workers should apply in their daily working life. We promote quality service and believe that regular learning and development will help ensure workers can remain up-to-date with best practice to provide the best care and support. We aim to be an outstanding employer giving 'new to care' people the opportunity to learn new skills and enable them to deliver good and outstanding care from the beginning.

We recommend our new starters to undertake Skills for Care training if they have not done so and make it as a part of a robust induction programme. The Care Certificate is an agreed set of standards that define the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in the health and social care sectors.

To complete the Care Certificate requires some supervision, direction and observation by someone who is ‘occupationally competent’. We work together with our clients to support new starters with completing the assessments for certificate and provide them with the best work opportunities in the area.
